About The Position

Iron EagleX is seeking a front end-focused Full Stack Engineer to support our Software Development team on Ft Bragg, NC. In this role, you will design, develop, and manage robust software systems that seamlessly integrate front-end user interfaces with backend infrastructures. You will work across the full stack to create scalable and efficient solutions for modern applications to include supporting cutting-edge AI/ML processes. By partnering with product, analytics, and data engineering teams, you will build intuitive user interfaces and backend services that enable key functionalities, such as the processing of model-ready datasets, implementation of scalable storage solutions, and low-latency real-time data retrieval. We are seeking a front end-focused Full Stack Engineer with expertise in React to build and maintain user-friendly, scalable, and high-performance web applications. You will work closely with product designers, back-end engineers, and stakeholders to create seamless and engaging user experiences. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about modern web development, interactive design, and optimizing front-end performance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in front-end development with a focus on React.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Knowledge of modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, or SASS/SCSS).
  • Experience with build tools and package managers (Webpack, Vite, pnpm, Yarn, npm).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Eventstores, and WebSockets for data fetching.
  • Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and best practices for front-end development.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git, GitLab, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Current TS/SCI Clearance is required
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Work is onsite on Ft Bragg, NC
  • Due to US Government Contract Requirements, only US Citizens are eligible for this role

Nice To Haves

  • Building complex React applications with a focus on modularity and maintainability.
  • Working with and building out component libraries with Radix-UI.
  • Using TanStack Query for asynchronous state management.
  • Validating and parsing schema with Zod.
  • Contributing to open-source projects or maintaining personal projects demonstrating React expertise.
  • Understanding UX/UI principles and collaborating effectively with design teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain high-quality React applications with a focus on performance and usability.
  • Collaborate with designers and back-end engineers to implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Optimize front-end applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code using modern JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and React best practices.
  • Implement and manage global state using tools like Redux, Zustand, or React Context API.
  • Work with Golang APIs and integrate third-party services into front-end applications.
  • Conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and maintain development best practices.
