This role is responsible for selling merchant services offerings to businesses. The activities include pricing, customer segmentation, customer presentations, account sign-up and activation, and account management. The position primarily involves field sales to area businesses, although some business may be conducted over the phone depending on scale.

  • Manage a portfolio of clients for the company.
  • Identify revenue opportunities and prospective clients within assigned territories through face-to-face meetings, telephone communications, marketing programs, and other activities as needed.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.
  • Ensure suspect identification, planning, account qualification, and needs analysis at all prospect levels.
  • Respond to customer requests for information and give online presentations.
  • Identify and close additional product and/or service sales with existing clients to further develop the client relationship.
  • Manage client relationships and expectations during the sales cycle.
  • Maintain existing/prospective client records in accordance with company policies, including call notes, scheduled client interactions, contact information, and other relevant client information in the CRM system (SalesForce.com).
  • Keep management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports.
  • Continuously build and develop knowledge of current product/service portfolio as well as changes and developments within the payments industry.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background check.
  • Completion of mandatory drug screening on or near 60th day of employment.
  • Must live in area relative to job posting location.
  • Typically Minimum 2 Years Relevant Experience.
  • B2B sales experience, cold calling sales experience, demonstrated successful performance in previous sales job.
  • Commission Only compensation structure.
  • First-year professionals may expect an average of $90,000 - $105,000+ if in the top 25% through uncapped weekly commissions, lifetime residuals, and portfolio equity.
