About the position
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Product Designer to lead design for our core AI products built on top of our industrial data and AI platform, Cognite Data Fusion (CDF). You'll drive best in class product experience, collaborating closely with engineering, product management, and front-line teams, bringing AI value to complex workflows in the industrial domain.
Responsibilities
- Create seamless experiences for both technical users and business stakeholders
- Work across all stages of the design process (user research, ideation, concept development, validation, wireframing, prototyping, as well as detailed UI design & implementation support)
- Drive and uphold design quality through strong ideation, systems thinking, and refinement of shared design standards
- Apply your systems thinking and ability to understand complex relationships between various products, channels and features to drive better design outcomes
- Lead end-to-end design for high-impact product areas, from concept to final implementation
- Partner with PMs to craft systematic solutions that connect the dots between user needs, data, business goals, and business strategy
- Partner with engineers to build impactful products and features within the constraints of our technology and timelines
Requirements
- 6+ years of product design experience, with demonstrable experience leading product initiatives end-to-end - from exploration to final implementation
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, and drive clarity that brings the user, technology, and business together into an actionable roadmap
- Proven track record designing complex enterprise software, with a strong understanding of technical user workflows, preferably in AI, or data & analytics domains
- Portfolio demonstrating sophisticated problem-solving and strong systems thinking for complex, data-heavy interfaces
