About the position

As a Senior Product Line Manager for North America Express Lane Footwear team, you will lead product strategy, consumer work, and product creation processes for the overall product line in collaboration with the Product Director. You will work with both the Performance and Lifestyle product management teams as well as all key stakeholders/functions involved in the consumer creation process - development, design, inline product teams, materials, etc. Additionally, you will partner with merchandising on marketplace positioning and geo insights/franchise health. You will be responsible for creating consumer-led product briefs that will serve our North America marketplace needs, leveraging market trends, consumer behaviors, and analytics to create insights for new products. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to influence and collaborate, and a strong analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product strategy and consumer work for the product line.
  • Collaborate with the Product Director and various product management teams.
  • Create consumer-led product briefs for the North America marketplace.
  • Leverage market trends and consumer behaviors to inform product development.
  • Represent the consumer and demonstrate a passion for product, fashion, color, and style.
  • Drive the product creation process from initial concept to commercialization.
  • Achieve revenue and margin goals for assigned products.
  • Coordinate and communicate product lines to internal and external audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Product Development, Sports Product Management, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of product experience or related experience in merchandising, retail, or product.
  • Strong global consumer and marketplace knowledge.
  • Proven track record of strong business acumen and strategic decision making.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to create and drive efficient processes.
  • Ability to work well in ambiguity and lead cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience monitoring and understanding trends and applying that understanding to product briefs.
  • Global or Geographic experience.
  • Proven leadership authenticity and credibility with internal and external partners.
