About The Position

Hardware Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy and evolution of our internal developer platforms used across silicon and software development. This role will drive the platform’s expansion to meet the needs of diverse operational models across hardware and software teams, ensuring flexibility, clarity, and alignment across a wide range of developer workflows. Hardware Infrastructure serves as the foundational platform for silicon development. We build and operate the systems, environments, and tools that enable hardware engineers to design, simulate, validate, and tape out chips. In addition, we support software teams specifically through our source control platforms, enabling development of new products. Our mission is to accelerate engineering velocity while maintaining the performance, efficiency, and reliability required to deliver world-class silicon, while ensuring seamless collaboration where hardware and software development intersect.

Requirements

  • B.S. (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • 12+ years of product management experience, including ownership of developer platforms, infrastructure, or internal tools
  • Solid understanding of source control systems (Git, Perforce) and code collaboration workflows such as branching strategies, code reviews, and large-scale merges
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with highly technical engineering teams and driving products from concept through delivery
  • Proven track record to define product strategy, prioritize roadmaps, and deliver measurable improvements in developer productivity or system performance
  • Experience working with large-scale codebases or repositories, including challenges related to performance, collaboration, and code organization
  • Analytical approach, including defining success measures, tracking adoption, and finding opportunities to improve workflow efficiency
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority across multiple teams
  • Experience working in environments with geo-distributed teams and complex collaboration requirements
  • Track record of driving adoption of internal platforms and influencing engineering culture (code health, review practices, versioning standards)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting hardware or silicon development environments and understanding of pre-silicon development workflows
  • Familiarity with enterprise-scale source control systems such as Perforce in large, distributed engineering organizations
  • Experience with repository architecture decisions, large binary/artifact management, and access control models

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for source control systems supporting large-scale chip and software development ensuring performance, reliability and scalability
  • Partner closely with internal engineering teams to integrate source control seamlessly into day to day development and optimize developer workflows
  • Own the evolution of repository architecture, access controls, and the structuring of code to support complex programs and distributed teams
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across internal teams to ensure cohesive and scalable source control solutions across the development ecosystem
  • Establish metrics and indicators and use data to inform prioritization and measure impact
  • Drive long-term investments in scalability and reliability to support growing codebases, increasing team sizes, and next-generation silicon and software programs
  • Champion guidelines in maintaining code integrity, review standards, and versioning strategies to enable efficient collaboration and reduce integration risk ahead of tapeout
