Senior Product Manager - National and Specialty Lending

About the position

The Product Manager IV - Commercial Lending is responsible for ensuring that assigned products are relevant, sold properly, and managed to provide a positive customer experience. This includes overseeing product management tasks such as market research, financial analysis, product planning, development, and implementation, as well as coordinating sales and marketing strategies. Key components of the role include product profitability, risk mitigation, performance evaluation, and measurement of results. The individual will serve as a subject matter expert for a suite of products.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a market expert for assigned product(s) through research, discovery, validation, and customer interactions.
• Define market problems by gathering and analyzing information from various sources.
• Develop solutions through strategic planning, including product roadmap and business plan development.
• Manage products, monitor product life cycle, and recommend pricing and marketing strategies.
• Define, measure, and manage product risk.
• Measure assigned product(s) success and communicate results.
• Create and own assigned product's market message and participate in marketing program development.
• Develop training material and conduct training classes as necessary.
• Conduct interviews with customers, non-customers, and prospective customers.
• Continuously evaluate current economic conditions and advise management on impacts to assigned products.
• Ensure profitability and competitive positioning of assigned product(s).
• Research and define market problems for assigned product(s) and investigate market opportunities.
• Recommend criteria for testing newly developed products and enhancements.
• Ensure appropriate product stability and efficient escalation protocols for operational issues.
• Evaluate customer complaints and suggestions related to assigned product(s).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited University.
• 7 or more years of experience in Commercial Lending Products.
