About The Position

At Google, we put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development. One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users. In this role, you will shape a fast-growing, Artificial Intelligence (AI) product. You will build the consumer-facing product for context management to pioneer Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven informational content creation, to evolve our product into a multimodal and intuitive User Interface (UI), and to relentlessly push models to their fullest capabilities to solve real user problems and help users do more at school, work, and life. You will lead a cross-functional team, manage issues at the frontier of Artificial Intelligence (AI), build and grow a widely used product.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in managing products from early-stage development to significant user growth.
  • Experience in crafting and writing user-centric evals to launch model features.
  • Experience in product design sense and a passion for building beautiful, user-centric interfaces.
  • Ability to utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) for prototyping and the transformation of the Product Management (PM) role.
  • Ability to solve information issues while building delightful, high-impact artificial intelligence (AI) experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Construct user-centered evaluation rubrics for core agent capabilities and new product directions like Notebook Operating System (NotebookOS).
  • Manage new model releases.
  • Drive a personalization and memories strategy across the product.
  • Translate user needs, technical requirements, and goals into detailed product requirements, user stories, and clear specifications for engineering, design, and research teams.
  • Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for the entire product, using data to measure success, identify areas for improvement, and inform the roadmap.
