The Senior Payments Product Manager is responsible to own the strategy, development, launch and lifecycle requirements of our payments products associated with processing. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with product owners and engineering to deliver winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Senior Payments Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals. The Payments Senior Product Manager is expected to: Identify, define and scope new product opportunities to fit the market needs, strategic goals of the company and/or our client’s requirements. Drive product business requirements, working closely with product owner(s) to design and develop technical requirements; define future product updates/upgrades with a focus on healthcare payments functionality The ideal candidate should have knowledge of payment ecosystems (cards, ACH, payment hardware devices, alternative payments, service fees, and reporting) with strong analytical skills Deliver marketing required documents (MRDs) and product requirement documents (PRDs) with prioritized features and corresponding justification Define pricing and billing requirements to execute against revenue goals Work with external third parties to assess and manage partnerships, including hardware manufacturers, procurement (KIFs) vendors, Qualified Security Assessors (QSAs), bankcard networks and other third party payments suppliers Be an expert with respect to the competition and work with marketing and sales to define competitive feature sets and gaps Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product Perform product demos to customers for reporting tools and other products in-scope of the position Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals, and work with billing to fulfill requirements Manage hardware inventory through suppliers to include forecasts, pipelines with sales, financial reporting, purchase orders for new inventory, and hardware order processing, contracts and quality controls with internal teams Partner with marketing to develop sales tools and collateral Brief and train the sales force at sales meetings Partner with legal and compliance to ensure adherence to PCI‑DSS and regulatory requirements. Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders on payments‑related initiatives, client issues, and other internal support needs
