Do you want to influence product engineering teams to shape the next generation of Cloud Gaming demand planning capabilities for Xbox? The Xbox Platform Team is looking for a highly-motivated Product Manager with experience in cloud-scale capacity planning. You will help create the strategy and deliver tactical execution of distributed and scalable cloud-based solutions to address interesting problems in our next-gen cloud-based gaming space. You will work closely with engineering and product management in designing, implementing, and evolving innovative capabilities critical in driving scale for Cloud Gaming. You will be responsible for developing and delivering the capacity plan needed to support the growth of Cloud Gaming, on time and on budget. Additionally, you will help define the processes and KPI’s for this area and drive projects to automate both deliverables. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience engineering new platforms requiring 3rd party integration, operational standards, and/or data insights
  • Passion for large-scale distributed system engineering such as Azure or Xbox Live
  • Motivated to learn challenging technical domains
  • Good interpersonal and communications (verbal and written) skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Drives Clarity - Can you take a complex system with multiple moving parts and be able to understand and explain the output succinctly?

Responsibilities

  • Work within and across teams to solve complex technical challenges
  • Develop engineering best-practices – continuously evaluate our processes to identify opportunities to improve, enhance, and automate existing and new capabilities with a fundamental understanding of the end-to-end scenario
  • Drive new projects from idea inception to completion
  • Balance technical and business requirements as input to establishing a solid roadmap
  • Regularly engage with various levels of Gaming Leadership to provide roadmap/progress updates against commitments
  • Grow & foster an inclusive, creative, high-performance team culture
  • Coach & mentor other team members
