We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to help us keep tails wagging (well, flicking) long after a customer’s first box. You’ll lead the charge on building and executing our retention strategy, uncovering why cat parents stay, and designing product experiences that make them purr with delight.   • Build and execute the retention strategy, making sure our customers stay delighted with Smalls long after their first box.
  • Identify and improve product-led retention levers—from onboarding flows to subscription management to new feature adoption.
  • Diagnose and act on churn signals, working closely with data, CX, and marketing to understand and address the 'why' behind customer drop-off.
  • Drive cross-functional execution, leading design, engineering, marketing & operations teams to deliver thoughtful solutions that balance business outcomes which customers love.
  • Use experimentation, user feedback, and behavior analysis to validate hypotheses, measure impact, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Champion a product culture at Smalls—where insights, learning, and customer empathy guide how we build.
  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with a mix of subscription, consumer, or eCommerce.
  • Comfort with retention and growth metrics (AOV, churn, LTV) and the ability to use them to shape strategy and prioritization.
  • Hands-on experience running experiments and A/B testing, with strong analytical and hypothesis-driven problem solving.
  • A track record of leading cross-functional teams and rallying stakeholders across engineering, design, and marketing.
  • Strong communication skills—you can simplify complexity, inspire collaboration, and keep teams aligned.
  • Bias for action, strong prioritization instincts, and a customer-first mindset.
  • Thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments, and enjoy taking big ideas from concept to launch to iteration.
