About the position

Omada Health has evolved from being synonymous with Diabetes Prevention to offering a symbiotic suite of programs and support for members, including Diabetes Prevention, MSK, Behavioral Health, Diabetes and Hypertension. These programs are all based on our foundation of sustainable behavior change using technology and a human care team together. You will be responsible for working with cross-functional leaders across the company to ensure that the products and programs we build have maximum market impact. As a strategic leader in EPD Operations, reporting to the Director, you will integrate engineering, product, and design program management with both product and engineering operations. Your role will support the entire EPD organization—encompassing Product Management, UX/Design, User Research, and Engineering—to drive efficiency and maximize impact. In collaboration with the Director of EPD Operations, you will navigate and streamline dependencies and processes to ensure that product launches deliver significant business impact. As an individual contributor, you must possess a deep understanding of engineering, product, and design processes, as well as company and product strategy, to harmonize the various components for optimal results. This position requires strong execution skills and the ability to influence leadership and cross-functional teams, offering a foundation for future roles in product management, product line ownership, or general management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple cross-functional EPD programs that deliver innovative technical solutions, requiring an understanding of the wider business
  • Work with EPD leadership to define goals, determine resources needed, and stand up the cross-functional team
  • Drive engagement with cross-functional partners, work to decompose business requirements into project roadmaps with measurable milestones, effectively optimize scope and schedule, manage cross-functional dependencies, and proactively manage risks
  • Serve as the key liaison across engineering, product, design, clinical, care delivery, commercial, compliance, legal, infosec, and privacy teams, aligning diverse stakeholders towards unified decisions
  • Monitor program progress and clearly communicate updates to stakeholders and leadership
  • Facilitate program retrospectives and implement improvements to the program management process
  • Run program offsites 2x/year
  • Coordinate and refine EPD’s annual planning process in partnership with cross-functional Strategy, Planning, & Operations (SP&O) counterparts in clinical, care delivery, and commercial
  • Identify and deliver on opportunities for greater collaboration among EPD, clinical, care delivery, and commercial, including coordinating offsites and rituals, creating and evolving forums and tools, and serving as a representative of EPD in all interactions with other functions
  • Own and optimize EPD’s rituals and processes around metrics monitoring and team-level planning
  • Build out tools and processes to support EPD teams in delivering against our most important business goals
  • Drive adoption of new processes and standards within EPD
  • Serve as the main EPD point of contact for answering and triaging commercial questions relating to Omada’s products

Requirements

  • 7+ years of a combination of market and/or product strategy, product management, general management, consulting, product or business operations experience
  • Strong experience in and/or enthusiasm for healthcare, technology combined with human care, startup/growth company work
  • Experience running multiple large-scale projects and balancing priorities
  • Expertise in using both qualitative insights and quantitative findings for market analysis
  • Experience guiding teams to define goals, generate hypotheses, define metrics, execute, review and pivot based on experimentation/early signals, deliver against goals
  • Deep experience helping define and report against quantitative goals/OKRs/metrics
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong technical understanding
  • Thrives on attention to detail and process efficiency
  • Able to understand the big picture and orient towards it while driving execution
  • Strong people/relationship skills, experience understanding team dynamics and concerns, high EQ
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate business impact and technical constraints tailored to the audience
  • MBA or related graduate degree a plus
