About The Position

Inside the Role DTNA Product Strategy is responsible for the overall product strategy at DTNA, which includes gathering market inputs and feedback, developing roadmaps for our products, and scoping major and minor projects within the organization to drive product improvements. In addition, the strategy team provides data analyses to support product decision making, take rate modeling, and helps foster positive customer experience. In the Product Strategy department, you will gain knowledge of our customers, dealers, markets and products, as well as expand your professional network. In this role, you will establish and lead product projects from Quality Gate S through Quality Gate 9 and sit on the project team as the primary Sales and Marketing representative after QG9. You will also be creating business cases and other project-related content and presentation materials, and presenting to the leadership team to help cast the vision and strategy for DTNA’s Cameras, Digital Displays, Instrument Clusters, and other Human-Machine Interface (HMI) topics, for both On-Highway and Medium Duty & Vocational trucks. This includes collaboration and alignments within Sales/Marketing, Engineering, TT/S, Procurement & Supply, Finance, Connectivity, Daimler Truck Specialty Vehicles, Daimler Truck Australia, Daimler Truck Mexico, Mercedes-Benz Trucks, among other local and global stakeholders. You will need to work autonomously to define and manage project deliverables such as product positioning, product definition, project Spec Book, complexity matrices, budget, schedule, risks & countermeasures, volumes, among other tasks. You will also need to deeply understand customer requirements (end users / drivers, fleets, and TEMs) and will need to represent our customers in daily project meetings and discussions. Ensure organizational alignment, success and competitiveness of DTNA’s products as it relates to Cameras, Digital HMI, and other technology topics. Provide data-based recommendations on potential new product offerings and technologies Create detailed project timing plans and lead project teams to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget Steer global and local Camera & Digital HMI roadmap and development efforts to achieve / maintain best-in-class product position Serve as product expert for Cameras and Digital HMI topics Champion continuous improvement initiatives including Visual Management and foster positive culture and team environment Knowledge You Should bring A Bachelors degree and 5 years of relevant experience is required. Requirements

  • A Bachelors degree and 5 years of relevant experience is required.
