Senior Production Engineering Manager
About The Position
Astemo Americas, Inc. seeks a Senior Production Engineering Manager in Harrodsburg, KY to lead and manage a team of test engineers and test engineering technicians. Coordinate testing activities across multiple lines and projects. Ensure timely delivery of testing milestones to meet customer requirements. Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. Oversee the creation and maintenance of test documentation including test cases, scripts, and reports. Continue improving preventative maintenance plan for testing systems. Optimize frequency of maintenance on systems by analyzing downtime and yield rates. Manage test environments and tools. Design and implement new testing capabilities based on new technology. Participate or lead defect reduction activities to reduce defect cost, improve testing capability, and optimize test reliability by evaluating CPK data.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field of study and 60 months (5 years) of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Test Engineering Manager, Test Development Engineer, or Test Development Group Leader in the automotive components manufacturing industry.
- Experience must include managing test engineering team, Six Sigma Statistical Analysis, 8D problem solving, C++, .Net, C#, LabVIEW, and Power Bi.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Test Systems Architecture required.
- Up to 5% domestic or international travel may be required, as needed.
- Employment contingent upon drug screen and background check.
