Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field
  • 3 or more years of experience in planning
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Experience using ERP systems such as QAD or SAP
  • Experience with Power BI or TULIP
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross functionally
  • Knowledge of GTPs, GMPs and good documentation practices
  • Ability to influence peers and leaders in a matrixed environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary, multicultural team
  • Ability to travel 0 to 10 percent, primarily between the Columbia site and an off-site warehouse

Responsibilities

  • Develop production and inventory management plans to support material and finished goods requirements
  • Receive, analyze and communicate impacts related to changes in demand and supply plans
  • Identify current and potential product shortages and execute recovery plans
  • Publish monthly Production Plans for the Fort Worth site and coordinate the manufacturing schedule
  • Understand and highlight capacity constraints while partnering with manufacturing teams on resolutions
  • Facilitate cross functional discussions related to operations, including QC holds and NC issues
  • Continuously monitor and analyze planning data to ensure successful execution
  • Manage document revisions, including NCs, CAPAs, formatting updates and continuous improvement actions
  • Assist in preparing reports and documentation related to Columbia facility operations
  • Lead and facilitate kaizen activities to streamline planning processes and reduce waste
  • Monitor inventory transfers and value between ERPs
  • Author and support change controls, change plans and other critical documents
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manufacturing management
