About The Position

This job posting is for upcoming opportunities. We are seeking a Senior Program Analyst - Threat Reduction Program Oversight with extensive expertise with the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Threat Reduction and Arms Control (DASW(TRAC)) Weapons of Mass Destruction Threat Reduction (WMDTR) Division within the Washington Headquarters Services in Falls Church, VA to join our team.

Requirements

  • Master's degree minimum in a relevant area
  • Minimum 3 years of extensive expertise in acquisition management position related to threat reduction oversight.
  • Familiar with execution of projects or programs from development of concept and/or specific requirements through delivery and/or sustainment of facility and/or service.
  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • US citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) programs.
  • Knowledge of Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) programs.
  • Understanding of WMD proliferation threats and countermeasures.
  • Experience with international security cooperation programs.
  • DAU Level II or III certification in Program Management or equivalent.
  • Experience working with foreign partners and international organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with determination of critical implementation and compliance requirements and issues for monitoring Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) program activities.
  • Work closely with Offices of Secretary of Defense (Policy) and other U.S. Government Departments/Agencies to provide program acquisition support and assist with relevant programmatic issues and any CTR Program actions requiring coordination at OSD level.
  • Assist development, coordination, and distribution of important Acquisition Implementation Guidance and direction to DTRA CTR Program leadership, including new and/or updated Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Provide analytic support in review and development of CTR Annual Report to Congress and other congressionally required reports.
  • On as-needed basis, provide technical subject matter expertise to advise DoD, other agencies of USG, partner countries on all technical aspects of safeguarding, dismantling, eliminating, and disposing of WMD.
  • Participate in conferences, trips, meetings, and IPTs, and produce issue or point papers, meeting minutes, briefing materials, cost and technical estimates, trip reports, and similar documents.
  • Performance of analyses, assessments, research, briefings and related tasks supporting threat reduction program oversight.
