The Jorgensen Family YMCA is looking for an energetic, outgoing team player to fill the position of Senior Program Director to grow the current wellness programming options available.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred but will consider an equivalent combination of education/work experience.
- One to two years related leadership experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, supervisory, and organizational skills.
- An elevated level of organization, flexibility, and ability to handle difficult situations effectively.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to relate to, welcome, and communicate with diverse groups of people regardless of age, race, economic status, religion, or cultural differences.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe and positive environment for all participants to succeed in programming goals.
- Contribute to the growth of assigned departments.
- Develop, implement and promote successful programs to meet the needs of the community and fulfill YMCA objectives.
- As the main face of wellness, the Senior Program Director should build relationships with members, and support staff, be positive, friendly, and helpful.
