About The Position

Oversees Residential, Sponsored Residential and Day Support Programs. Maintains the day-to-day operation of the residential facility as well as the day support facility. Supervises Program Directors, Program Managers, Supervisors and Direct Care Staff. Monitors staff performance on regular basis and provides feedback. Conducts and/or reviews performance evaluations of staff in accordance with policy. Provides staffing Report Meets regularly with facility directors and staff. Coordinates and monitors the documentation process. Monitors implementation of programs. Monitors equipment and supplies. Reviews curriculum and service delivery model. Oversee completion of monthly paperwork. Markets services in the community. Attend various vendor fairs, trainings and sponsored events targeting the ID population. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university two years of experience in the human services field.
  • In lieu of degree:
  • Must have 5 years of experience in evaluating and assessing.
  • Interdisciplinary and person-center approach, and MR waiver.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Must have experience in a residential facility working with the intellectually disabled.
  • Program Director must serve as QMRP and must also possess valid driver’s license.
  • This position requires the successful completion of training/certification in CPR, first aid, behavior management, and medication administration.
  • Successful completion of criminal history and central registry background investigations are required.
