Senior Project Controller - Power Infrastructure - Planning and Scheduling Manager
About The Position
Join our team as A Senior Project Controller where you'll lead project schedule, drive on‑time delivery, and support successful execution across complex EPC & Mega Infrastructure project. Our Senior Project Controllers are responsible for developing and managing integrated project schedules ( Planning & Scheduling ) meeting customer and Stakeholder requirements. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, our Project Controller ensures risks, issues, and changes are documented and addressed promptly following GE Vernova standards. Additionally, the Project Controller provides a complete project performance assessment, consolidating schedule, cost, risk, and opportunity information into a clear, comprehensive view for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Min. 10 years’ experience in Project Control Planning & Scheduling function
- Only candidates meeting the basic requirement in the following industries Power/Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing, Power Plant, Infrastructure/Construction will be considered:
- Must be willing to work on East Coast time zone (EST) hours, supporting Project Management Offices Located in Atlanta, GA. Schenectady, NY and Greenville, South Carolina.

- Expertise of EPC environments and work processes of large EPC Projects
- Expertise in Primavera P6 & Risk Analysis Tools
- Experienced with Extension of time Claims and Forensic Planning
- Lead large complex project team reviews as well as to simplify complex messages with excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to support multiple internal customers and partners with competing priorities in a matrixed environment
- Experience collaborating with multiple functions such as engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, projects and logistics
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain L3 baseline schedules using Primavera P6.
- Lead schedule reviews, progress reporting, critical path analysis, and monthly deep ‑ dives.
- Provide schedule risk assessments and support mitigation planning with cross ‑ functional teams.
- Manage schedule impacts related to claims, change orders, and customer variations.
- Collaborate with partners, Engineering, C&I site teams, and project leadership to ensure alignment and timely updates.
- Drive continuous improvement of planning tools, processes, and KPIs.
- Prepare schedule documentation for reviews, reporting, and project close ‑ out.
