We’re seeking a Senior Project Engineer who reflects these values and is ready to support a major project in St. Louis, MO. The Senior Project Engineer plays a key technical and coordination role, ensuring project quality, compliance, documentation accuracy, schedule alignment, and budget support. This position collaborates closely with field teams, subcontractors, design partners, and the owner to keep work progressing smoothly and in accordance with project and contractual requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant construction or engineering experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accuracy.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with construction teams, subcontractors, or design partners.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.
  • Strong proactive attitude and commitment to safety.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure work is installed and documented according to project quality standards.
  • Review and process submittals for accuracy, completeness, and design compliance.
  • Support development of plans, technical specifications, reports, and construction-phase documentation.
  • Assist with the creation of turnover documentation and O&M packages.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support activities of project personnel and subcontractors.
  • Monitor compliance with company and client procedures, standards, and contract requirements.
  • Assist with procurement coordination and ensure timely delivery of materials to the jobsite.
  • Interface regularly with the client to maintain alignment and satisfaction.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing estimates, proposals, and work plans.
  • Support project budget management by monitoring costs and forecast impacts.
  • Contribute to project control functions including reporting, tracking, and documentation.
  • Support weekly and monthly progress reporting.
  • Help establish project timelines and coordinate required activities to meet schedule.
  • Work with field supervision to ensure planned activities align with resource and time requirements.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and direction to junior project engineers or support staff.
  • Assist with team communication, coordination, and collaboration across field and office teams.
  • Contribute to company initiatives, culture-building efforts, and continuous improvement.
