About The Position

Requirements

  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with emphasis in Structural, Water Resources, Geotechnical, or Environmental fields; Electrical or Mechanical Engineering considered secondary.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with HEC RAS and Hydrologic & Hydraulic (H&H) modeling tools.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering plans, specifications, federal contracting requirements, and USACE quality control processes.
  • Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams including environmental, survey, geotechnical, structural, and water resources.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for interaction with federal personnel, partners, subcontractors, and internal leadership.
  • Familiarity with project management and document control platforms used in federal or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to effectively operate in a remote or distributed environment while maintaining high accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation for federal programs, ensuring compliance with USACE standards.
  • Support technical submittals, RFIs, change documentation, meeting minutes, and quality control records.
  • Coordinate field activities with internal teams, subcontractors, and federal representatives to meet design, safety, and contract requirements.
  • Contribute to hydrologic, hydraulic, and water control analyses using HEC RAS and related modeling tools.
  • Track upcoming federal opportunities, support proposal development, and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and subcontractors.
  • Participate in capability briefings, client meetings, and strategic planning to expand presence in targeted federal programs.
  • Maintain organized project documentation, risk tracking, and schedule updates to ensure project delivery excellence.
