About The Position

TYLin is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a passion for delivering high-quality Rail + Transit design projects and programs. Based in New York City, you’ll manage and deliver major Rail + Transit projects for agencies such as MTA, Amtrak, PANYNJ, NJ Transit, LIRR, Metro-North, and others. You’ll also have opportunities to collaborate on national pursuits with agencies like WMATA, SEPTA, and CTA. You’ll lead a talented team of engineers and designers, build strong client relationships, and deliver projects that improve regional and national mobility.

Requirements

• A degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Professional Engineer (PE) license in NY strongly preferred.
• Proven success delivering Rail + Transit engineering design projects, programs, or on-call assignments for major agencies.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, with deep expertise in Rail + Transit projects.
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and motivating teams.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to balance technical delivery, business development, and team growth responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex Rail + Transit design projects, from early planning through final design.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, ensuring quality and exceptional service.
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers, fostering growth and career development.
• Collaborate with senior leaders nationwide to pursue new opportunities and strengthen our Rail + Transit practice.
• Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and professional associations in New York and beyond.
• Play a key role in project pursuits, including proposal development, strategy, and presentations.
