About The Position

What we are looking for SCS Engineers is a highly experienced and diversely talented environmental and engineering firm with over 1,300 employees in over 70 offices nationwide. We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead our growing Environmental Services (ES) team in southeastern Pennsylvania and to serve the overall Pennsylvania environmental consulting market. This position can be based in our Lansdale or Denver, PA offices. You would be responsible for growing our presence in this geographic area, specifically but not limited to the oil and gas/mining industry, utilities, manufacturing, and real estate markets, as well as serving existing SCS ES clients. How you can make an impact You will wear several hats, including Project Management responsibilities, growing the Pennsylvania ES Practice, and serving as a Seller-Doer. As a Senior Project Manager, you will contribute to SCS’s continued growth by: Developing new and existing clients Integrating with other ES staff across the company Managing and being responsible for profit/loss of Pennsylvania projects Seeking profitable ways to increase ES staff across Pennsylvania Managing and continuing to build a team of ES professionals to support growth As a Seller you will contribute to our growth by: Playing a lead role in new client acquisition Collaborating with others at SCS to develop strategies for expanding ways in which we contribute to our clients' success Drafting and reviewing proposals Enhancing the value of the services that we perform for existing clients As a Doer you will work with a team of professionals, including SCS' national experts in various fields, to assist our clients in resolving a wide variety of environmental challenges to include: Groundwater Monitoring and Reporting Hydrogeologic Investigations Due Diligence including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) Soil and Groundwater Remediation Brownfield Redevelopment Environmental Compliance Mining and Energy Liquids Management Issues Air Permitting and Compliance Reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters in an environmental-related science or engineering field required
  • 10+ years of related work experience required
  • 5+ years working at an environmental consulting firm required
  • Pennsylvania Act 2 project experience required
  • Business Development experience in the Pennsylvania market required
  • Valid driver's license and driving record in good standing required

Nice To Haves

  • Membership/Experience with Pennsylvania professional organizations such as Pennsylvania PE or PG preferred.
