About The Position

Responsibilities include: Core members for Clean, Safe and Secure (CS&S) program as measured by monthly KPI report which is presented to client management by supervisor: Participation on all lab and associated lab support areas on protocol & safety walks including: The documenting of all findings in database, follow up with task owner on root cause & corrective action, approve and timely closure of all findings in database, utilize check list on every walk. Ensure finding closure cycle times meet established goals. Monitor, maintain & enforce clean room protocols adherence including the proper wearing of garments, all PPE; safety glasses, goggles, masks, gloves and other applicable PPE. Assess and correct violations associated with all items listed on the standardized CS&S audit checklist. Make sure that all signage is per corporate communications format specifications and that all signage is applicable to the area it is posted. Ensure signage is standardized where possible. Signs are placed in areas that are easy to view by customers. Daily tag and sweep FOUP/FOSB. Document repeat offenders and work with them to establish long term corrective action. Empty all blue racks daily at all campuses and ship FOSBs to B21/Reclaim. Manage wafer/part storage program including pickup and delivery of FOUP/FOSB from/to labs/clean room. Main force to drive blue bin program for properly dispositioned parts from lab / clean room on average twice / week / building or as needed. Routine check and repair if necessary, all vacuum wands at all campuses (Ex: vacuum wand on process tools, inline metrology tools, labs or cleanrooms) Collect particle samples quarterly and plot data onto trend chart for all clean room and labs at all campuses. Share results with management. Support annual CUPA and Fire inspection at all campuses. Provide support for special request such as: customer visit, media tour, executive tour etc. Provide support to BU in cleanup efforts such as: tech room, bays, labs etc. as assigned. Support ERT in emergency events (site access, escort) Make suggestions for lab Continuous Improvement (CIP) activity. Management to establish tracker for suggested improvements. Additional remarks regarding work environment: Chemical hazards are primarily mitigated through engineering controls, but some uncontrolled chemicals from incidental spills requiring cleanup evaluation may require use of respirator and other PPE. You must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including protective eye wear, a hard hat, lab coat, gloves, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, and respirators. Must be able to safely access and traverse indoor and outdoor obstacles for site inspections, including climbing ladders, walking on stairs, catwalks, and other types of uneven surfaces where activity inspections are needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and understand technical procedures and instructions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from supervisors and managers.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including protective eye wear, a hard hat, lab coat, gloves, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, and respirators.
  • Must be able to safely access and traverse indoor and outdoor obstacles for site inspections, including climbing ladders, walking on stairs, catwalks, and other types of uneven surfaces where activity inspections are needed.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of Mechanical or Electrical experience is preferred or prevous experience in a production environment
