About The Position

As a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, you will lead the development and implementation of advanced test automation strategies across complex software systems. You will play a key role in ensuring production readiness, reducing risk, and enhancing overall product quality. This position allows you to influence system architecture, guide automation framework evolution, and mentor other QA engineers, all within a dynamic, collaborative environment. You will drive shift-left quality initiatives, adopt modern testing tools and AI-assisted practices, and help shape long-term quality engineering roadmaps. Your work will directly impact the reliability, efficiency, and scalability of software solutions delivered to end users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant QA, automation, or software testing experience; leadership in automation strategy and mentoring is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with modern end-to-end automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright or similar).
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD processes, Agile development practices, and quality engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in AI-assisted development tools and modern testing technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and role-specific development or design software.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications in automated testing tools or Agile methodologies are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Leading end-to-end quality strategy to ensure production readiness and risk mitigation.
  • Defining and executing comprehensive, risk-based testing plans for functional, integration, performance, security, and workflow scenarios.
  • Architecting, evolving, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Promoting best practices in automation, shift-left testing, and quality engineering across teams.
  • Mentoring QA engineers through code reviews, test planning, and professional development.
  • Collaborating with engineering, product, and DevOps leadership to influence architecture and design decisions from a quality perspective.
  • Conducting root cause analysis for production defects and automation failures, implementing preventive improvements.
  • Evaluating and guiding adoption of modern testing tools, automation technologies, and AI-assisted practices.
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support team and organizational goals.
