About The Position

In collaboration with the Quality Leadership Team, this position will lead the development, evaluation, and execution of our global Quality Strategy. In partnership with the leadership team this position will focus on the 'what' we deliver across the function, with Best4 Quality Strategy at the center. Identify and bring key insights and best practices into leading our Strat Plan and AOP cycles, enabling Quality leadership to build strategic initiatives to support the business. Distill and use local plans as an input to corporate strategy, to advance our support to the business and enable BSC’s growth through a sustainable, agile, best-in-class Quality function. Develop and lead our strategic portfolio review process. Lead a team of project managers who will execute on these critical activities. This individual is curious and analytical, able to distill clarity from complexity, and can manage complex projects from start to finish. Work Mode: This role is hybrid requiring you to be onsite 3 days per week. This role can be based out of the Minnesota sites or Marlborough, MA.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 15 years of related experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of direct or indirect management experience
  • Participation in strategic planning processes and ability to understand and identify critical drivers of business strategy
  • Expert at identifying and clearly articulating capability plans.
  • Ability to use data and inputs to conduct SWOT analyses, predict future state, build scenarios
  • Experienced in designing and executing capability assessments using quantitative (e.g., surveys design and interpretation) and qualitative (e.g., interviews, focus groups, facilitated workshops) methods
  • Execution skills and ability to deploy differing methodologies depending on what works best – classical waterfall project/program management, or agile cross-functional sprints
  • Knowledge with Strat Planning and Annual Operating Plan, knowledge of standard P&L metrics

  • Ability to lead without authority and facilitate agreement on paths forwards with teams to create coherent alignment towards end goals.

Responsibilities

  • Drive key planning activities (e.g., Strat Plan, AOP, Forecast) ensuring they are aligned to the over-arching Quality Strategy. Provide insights and guidance to adjust where needed.
  • Manage or mentor project managers responsible for executing different projects within the strategic portfolio or tactical Quality projects executed through the Quality Systems Governance Board (QSGB)
  • Partnering with key stakeholders to develop a full understanding of the business strategy, competitive landscape, risks, and opportunities.
  • Work with HRBP for HR to define the required organizational capabilities needed to win and deliver strategy.
  • Bring a consultative approach to defining, designing, and developing Quality strategy and portfolio planning review process.
  • Collaborate across Quality leadership developing long-term & annual business plans
  • Support the QSGB as well as QMP Project Managers
  • Ability to establish strong relationships and be viewed as a trusted partner
  • Drive planning process & evaluate investment & headcount needs across strategic priorities
  • Manage planning progress ensuring plans are completed within agreed upon timelines.
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders– including identifying macro trends, scoping needs, developing strategic framework, creating implementation plans, timelines, deliverables, etc.
  • Develop communication materials to present to key stakeholders
  • Prepare presentations, recaps and other materials needed to manage and communicate insights and strategic recommendations to key executives and stakeholders
