Requirements

  • Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Quantitative and Computational Finance or a closely related quantitative field and two (2) year of experience as Financial Analyst, Quantitative Research Analyst, or a related position.
  • Experience must include: Applying quantitative techniques in financial mathematics, applied mathematics and statistics to solve forecasting risk measurement and management problems.
  • Utilizing Python, R, SQL, and other programming languages.
  • Conducting financial, statistical and quantitative analysis and modeling projects.
  • Developing interactive dashboards to visualize data and model performance.
  • Optimizing processes to improve workflow and operational efficiency.
  • Telecommuting permitted within commuting distance.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development of highly sophisticated alpha-generating models.
  • Participate in the idea generation process.
  • Responsible for asset allocation, portfolio optimization, and security selection.
  • Interact with Portfolio Managers and other asset management team members to understand macroeconomic and risk management issues.
  • Improve existing models and processes.
  • Apply concepts such as effective duration, OAS, spread duration, effective convexity, yield measures, beta, and tracking error.
  • Architect an advanced interactive dashboard, leveraging cutting-edge technical expertise to deliver sophisticated visualizations and insights.
  • Improved operational efficiency by streamlining data analysis processes and integrating advanced statistical methodologies, including machine learning algorithms and predictive analytics.
