As a Research & Development Senior Technician, you will work in a high-tech laboratory environment, supporting the development of complex modules for ASML’s light source systems. You will assemble, test, and qualify prototype components to meet strict quality standards and timelines. Your role is hands-on and collaborative, ensuring that every product meets customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Completed secondary vocational education with 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Practical and theoretical knowledge of precision mechanics in low-volume or prototype manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience with vacuum systems, high-pressure systems, or similar automated systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements, specifications, and documentation.
  • Experience in laboratory or prototype manufacturing environments.
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to technical challenges.
  • Work with precision and attention to detail in complex environments.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and new technologies.
  • Take initiative and manage tasks independently.
  • Follow safety and quality standards consistently.
  • Use specialized tools and equipment with confidence.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Contribute ideas to improve processes and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test precision components for prototype modules.
  • Inspect and monitor material quality throughout the build process.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project teams to solve technical challenges.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow established specifications.
  • Handle and prepare materials, tools, and equipment for internal and external distribution.
  • Support problem analysis and propose solutions to improve processes.
  • Work in both laboratory and cleanroom environments to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
