About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Recruiter to drive HavocAI’s talent acquisition efforts across both technical and non-technical hiring. You’ll own the full-cycle recruiting process—sourcing, engaging, and closing top-tier candidates across engineering, product, mission operations, and key business functions. This role requires strong recruiting fundamentals, excellent candidate experience management, and the ability to partner closely with hiring managers to anticipate hiring needs and scale a world-class team. You’ll recruit across a broad mix of disciplines, ranging from autonomy and robotics to operations, finance, legal, and go-to-market roles, depending on business priorities.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of recruiting experience (in-house or agency), ideally in defense tech, aerospace, robotics, autonomy, or other technically complex industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit across both technical and non-technical disciplines, and to shift priorities quickly as business needs evolve.
  • Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn, GitHub, networking, referrals, and creative approaches.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and closing skills.
  • Experience working with modern ATS systems (Ashby preferred).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, mission-driven environment with a high bar for talent.
  • U.S. Citizen; eligibility for security clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, build job descriptions, and craft effective recruiting strategies across technical and non-technical roles.
  • Own full-cycle recruiting across multiple functions, including: Technical: software, hardware, systems, autonomy, maritime engineering Non-technical: operations, program management, finance, legal, people, and GTM roles (as needed)
  • Source, engage, and build pipelines of exceptional talent using LinkedIn, GitHub, referrals, networking, and creative sourcing strategies.
  • Manage the full candidate lifecycle: outreach, screening, interview coordination, feedback, and offer closing.
  • Ensure an outstanding candidate experience that reflects HavocAI’s mission, values, and high bar.
  • Maintain structured processes in our ATS (Ashby) for tracking candidates, reporting, and compliance.
  • Build and nurture relationships with passive candidates and relevant industry networks.
  • Contribute to HavocAI’s employer branding efforts to attract talent from diverse backgrounds and non-traditional pipelines.
  • Provide market insights, pipeline data, and hiring metrics to support headcount planning and recruiting strategy.
