About The Position

Our Senior Regional Managers are responsible for all budgetary, people development and operations objectives for multiple facilities. Their responsibilities include managing and leading teams across various locations, coaching and mentoring to ensure performance objectives are met and building leadership bench strength within the organization. The leader in this role must be nimble, demonstrate high judgment, make quick decisions in the face of ambiguity, and be strong in innovation. In addition, they must lead their teams to have high Bias for Action, Ownership, and have the ability to Hire and Develop the Best. As we continue to grow, we will rely on smart and scalable practices to enable execution of a best-in-class operation and drive cost down. Key job responsibilities Key job responsibilities Drives creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives and other Lean initiatives meet and exceed business plan. Responsible for the overall safety, quality and performance and customer experience of their facilities. Measures performance, provides feedback, and holds leaders accountable for their performance and the performance of their departments. Takes proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all departments, shifts and among the network. Works closely with support staff (HR, Finance, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention, Safety, Supply Chain and other leaders) to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience
  • 7+ years’ direct management experience, including a salaried, hourly and agency workforce, in a logistics, fulfillment, last-mile manufacturing, engineering, production or distribution environment
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering performance and financial based results in high pressure environments
  • Experience with performance metrics and process improvement and lean techniques
  • Experience with the full lifecycle staffing, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and terminations
  • Strong analytical capability; track record of digging into data and finding solutions for a variety of operational problems
  • Excellent communication skills (including local language and English, written and verbal)
  • Experience managing third party resources on a regional/national scale
  • Experience managing contingent workforce in a business with peak seasons
  • Candidates must be flexible to work a variety of hours as business demands, including overnight, weekends and holidays
  • Interest in long-term career development

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Engineering, Operations or related field and MBA preferred
  • Experience in a startup environment
  • Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
