About The Position

Senior Research Analyst, Global Equity Introduction Join our dynamic Global Equity team as an Analyst or Senior Research Analyst, conducting due diligence on public equity asset managers and communicating our views to colleagues and clients. Your judgment and expertise will help our clients make informed decisions on manager selection and shape their portfolio success. You will lead in-depth analysis, identify emerging trends, and collaborate with a dedicated team to achieve optimal investment outcomes in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Requirements

• High integrity and intellectual curiosity.
• Passion for investing with a healthy degree of skepticism.
• Preferred 5-10 years of experience in the investment industry, ideally in manager research or equity analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or other quantitative field; CFA charter holder (or progress toward the designation) preferred.
• Strong quantitative skills, including facility with financial and statistical concepts.
• Superior verbal and professional writing skills.
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with portfolio modeling and data analysis tools such as Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar platforms.
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently, proactively seek new responsibilities, and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
• Solid interpersonal skills and ability to work well with employees from other company departments.
• Experience applying AI-driven tools or workflows to enhance productivity, consolidate information at scale, and reduce manual processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform rigorous manager due diligence and quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Produce high quality research and recommendations to clients and client teams.
• Meet with and evaluate the capabilities of equity investment managers across various areas, assessing their firm, team, investment philosophy, process, and performance.
• Guide clients through investment manager searches, manager selection and portfolio construction
• Support other client projects as needed.
• Contribute to team development and growth initiatives including process improvement and resource optimization.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and associates
• Conduct research that contributes to improvements in the quality of Meketa’s investment advisory services, including writing white papers and thought leadership.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments to inform investment decisions.
• Prepare detailed investment reports and presentations for senior management and investment committees.
• Establish and maintain relationships with investment managers, industry analysts, and other key industry stakeholders.
