About The Position

As a Resident Engineer working on-site at a leading Tier 1 Service Providers
Engineering Center, this role provides critical automation development in
support of testing the customer's 4G and 5G EPC network elements prior to
deployment with Spirent's Landslide Mobility Solution. The candidate will work
with Spirent project management and customer management to define scope,
schedules, and best practices for completion of and maintenance of the
customer's testing framework. The candidate will also work with the customer's
individual contributors on a day-to-day basis in executing upon the priorities.

Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or a foreign degree equivalent.
• Must have 5 years of experience in job offered or related occupation.
• Must have 5 years of experience in telecom wireless technologies LTE, 5G; automated scripting languages including Robot, Python; programming languages including C, C++; Java Operating Systems including Windows, Linux, Unix; Robotic Test Automation; REST API for automation; and test management tools JIRA, HPQC.
• Telecommuting work arrangement permitted: position may work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
• Position does not require domestic or international travel.
