For more information, visit www.redditinc.com. We are looking for a talented leader to continue building our App Dev team in New York. Our Enterprise App Dev team partners with the largest Mobile App Developers globally, consulting clients on how to successfully grow their businesses by leveraging the best of Reddit’s platform capabilities. This team also partners with our XFN product and tech teams to represent their clients’ interests, influencing the future of Reddit ads. You’ll build and lead a team of Client Partners and Client Account Managers to drive growth of partnerships within this segment. This is a unique opportunity to lead a global team that is uniquely intertwined with the future of our ad product. Reddit is a fast-growing platform with ambitious goals. In order to be successful, this person will need to be a self-starter who takes the initiative to uncover insights and opportunities that will uplevel our client partnerships and operational approach, ultimately positioning this team for long-term success. In addition to contributing to segment, team, and account-level strategy, you will also act as coach and mentor to a team of high-performing Client Partners and Client Account Managers. This role is required to work from our New York office 1-2 days per week.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct people management experience in media sales
  • 10+ years of experience in media sales
  • Deep functional knowledge and industry expertise within the App First segment
  • Experience leading sales teams at dynamic, industry-leading companies, while working across a variety of verticals and challenges
  • Experience building sustainable strategies that leverage client relationships, 3rd party attribution vendor expertise, and partnership with internal Product & Engineering teams
  • Track record of building high-performing teams through mentorship and talent development while attracting new talent
  • Deep functional knowledge of technical attribution nuances and attribution industry expertise
  • Experience with direct advertiser sales, including negotiations and management of strategic partnerships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience upleveling sales partnerships by accessing C-level client stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial business leader focused on finding innovative ways to delight customers at scale
  • Passion for Reddit and its incredibly unique audience by understanding the culture, vernacular, and appropriate ways to make brands successful within communities

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of top-of-industry Client Partners and Client Account Managers
  • Build and expand your organization in smart and profitable ways
  • Drive your team to exceed established revenue targets
  • Advise sales and product management regarding market opportunities, sales positioning, use of resources, and strategic planning
  • Partner with Marketing to drive new product launches, marketing communications, and further establish Reddit as a leader amongst challenger brands
  • Partner with Sales Ops and Finance to develop financial and operating targets, ensuring alignment with the strategic plan
  • Build and manage senior-level relationships with key clients and agency partners
