About The Position

OCIT has a need for a Senior Salesforce Architect / Lead Developer who will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and supporting existing Salesforce platform customizations and integrations, as well as designing and delivering new solutions to meet evolving business needs. This role requires gathering and analyzing business requirements, identifying process gaps and pain points, and translating them into scalable, high-quality technical solutions. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and possess strong technical expertise, sound architectural judgment, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and architecture experience, including complex public sector implementations.
Strong experience designing and implementing solutions on the Salesforce Platform and Service Cloud.
Experience working with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, particularly Licensing, Permitting, and Inspections (LPI).
Experience working within Salesforce Government Cloud environments.
Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, REST/SOAP APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.
Experience with Salesforce DX, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Git-based version control.
Experience with data migration, large data volume (LDV) strategies, and performance optimization.
Experience implementing automation using Flow, Workflow, and Process Builder.
Experience with ETL/middleware tools and secure API integrations.
Strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture, including role hierarchy, sharing rules, and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities
