Senior Salesforce Engineer - B2B Commerce

NewAge Products Inc
5hHybrid

About The Position

NewAge Products is expanding a Salesforce-first commerce operating model across Salesforce B2B Commerce/Commerce Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and downstream systems. We’re hiring a senior, hands-on Salesforce Engineer who can own solution architecture and execution—stabilizing production, strengthening governance and reliability, and modernizing our storefront and integration patterns to support growth.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Salesforce engineering experience with demonstrated architecture ownership.
  • Deep experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce / Commerce Cloud: catalog, pricing, promotions, categories, search, and storefront APIs/services.
  • Strong integration engineering skills: Apex, REST/SOAP APIs, async patterns, data modeling, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
  • Proven ability to stabilize search/indexing and category rule behavior (e.g., product discoverability, inconsistent category membership, ranking/relevancy issues).
  • Experience with multi-system integrations (e.g., ERP such as SAP): bi-directional sync, reconciliation, traceability, and error handling.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable translating business requirements into technical designs and delivery plans.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience migrating from a headless storefront (e.g., Next.js) to Salesforce-supported storefront templates / Experience Cloud patterns.
  • Experience with integration platforms and/or event-driven architectures.
  • Salesforce Customer 360 experience.
  • Performance optimization experience that preserves analytics/marketing event integrity.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer, Application/System Architect, B2B Commerce/Commerce Cloud-related credentials).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical owner for Salesforce B2B Commerce and related platform components (data model, APIs, storefront services, and admin tooling).
  • Design and implement scalable architecture patterns for integrations, eventing, retries/idempotency, monitoring/alerting, and audit trails.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across the storefront, Salesforce APIs, integrations/middleware, and data/permission constraints; deliver durable root-cause fixes.
  • Improve catalog and merchandising reliability: category rules, sorting/sequence controls, indexing/search behavior, and reconciliation processes.
  • Build and harden governance around bulk product updates/imports (validations, approvals, rollback strategy, and auditability).
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Onboarding, Pricing, CX/Support, Fulfillment, Accounting) to eliminate manual work, improve visibility, and raise platform quality.
  • Mentor engineers and admins through design reviews, code reviews, documentation, and best practices; contribute to CI/CD and release management discipline.

Benefits

  • Salary and bonus is based on experience and highly competitive for the right candidate.
  • Benefits package.
  • An opportunity within a growing, fast-paced company, well established in its industry.
  • Fun! We celebrate successes and hold special events to build strong teams.
  • Our teams work under a remote-first Hybrid model, with the ease of having our North York office accessible for collaboration and/or quiet workspace.
