About The Position

As a DevOps Engineer on Zoom’s Security DevOps team, you will independently lead and deliver high impact infrastructure initiatives that power some of Zoom’s most security-critical production systems — including secrets management, secure service-to-service delivery, PKI, and secure deployment pipelines.This role blends software engineering, distributed systems operations, and security engineering. You will own projects end-to-end, from design through production rollout, while delivering measurable improvements to the security posture, reliability, and scalability of the platforms that protect Zoom and its customers.You are an experienced engineer who operates with minimal oversight, makes sound technical decisions, understands DevOps and security/compliance best practices, and is recognized as a go-to contributor in at least one critical domain. Requirements

  • Solid years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform / Infrastructure / Cloud Engineering
  • Show expertise in managing large-scale production environments using Kubernetes-based systems.
  • Possess designing or operating security infrastructure (e.g., Vault, PKI systems, secrets delivery, identity systems, SDKs/APIs)
  • Have experience in at least one programming language used for production systems (e.g., Go, Python, Java)
  • Demonstrate experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, ArgoCD)
  • Able to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or GitLab Runners
  • Have an understanding of observability and production monitoring in distributed systems
  • Demonstrate working experience in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, OCI)
  • Operate and designing infrastructure in AWS GovCloud or other regulated cloud environments (e.g., FedRAMP, IL5), with an understanding of compliance and boundary requirements

  • Enhancing observability and leveraging operational data to drive reliability and security advancements.
