About The Position
The Senior Server Engineer - Windows manages Windows operating systems within Platform Services under the Infrastructure Services Line of Business, handling administration, deployment, and engineering to maintain daily operations, data integrity, and high availability in multi-cloud setups. Using Windows OS administration and server build automation skills, this role ensures efficient server configurations and scalability. Group policy management and file/print services handling optimize access and resources, while monitoring and troubleshooting identify issues proactively. By supporting cross-cloud migrations and self-healing initiatives, the Senior Server Engineer - Windows aligns with performance requirements to enhance efficiency, stability, and application operability, reducing operational overhead.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years' experience as a server engineer or supporting server engineering responsibilities
- Master's degree, One-and-one- half (1.5) years of additional experience can substitute for one (1) year of a typical degree program.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
