About The Position

ICF is looking for an enthusiastic Senior ServiceNow Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. If you are interested in applying your expertise in manual and automated testing, supporting release validation to ensure high-quality deployments across ServiceNow modules in a consulting environment, then this may be the role for you. Job Location: This position requires that the job be performed in the United States. If you accept this position, you should note that ICF does monitor employee work locations and blocks access from foreign locations/foreign IP addresses and also prohibits personal VPN connections. You may be asked to travel once a quarter to an office. Our core work hours are 10am - 4pm Eastern Time with the option to start earlier or work later depending on your time zone.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, or similar
  • 5+ years of Quality Assurance or software testing experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform and ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
  • 2+ years of good knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, or CSM.
  • 3+ years of experience with test automation tools (such as Selenium, TestNG, etc.).
  • 3+ years of experience working with tools like JIRA
  • Understanding of API and integration testing.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • 3+ years of experience working with tools like JIRA
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
  • Must be an USC or Green Card Holder
  • Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • ServiceNow certification (e.g., ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or related certification).
  • Understanding of API and integration testing.
  • Prior experience in consulting, US government or healthcare is an advantage but not essential.
  • Highly effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to work well under constantly changing deadlines and priorities.
  • An ability to communicate and write clearly in English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface effectively at all levels of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ServiceNow enhancements and releases.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Validate ServiceNow workflows, catalog items, forms, notifications, and integrations.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools.
  • Verify fixes and ensure defects are resolved before production deployment.
  • Test configurations and customizations within ServiceNow modules (e.g., Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog).
  • Validate business rules, client scripts, UI policies, workflows, and integrations.
  • Ensure system configurations meet functional requirements and governance standards.
  • Support testing for ServiceNow upgrades and patch releases.
  • Develop or maintain automated test scripts where applicable (e.g., ServiceNow ATF, Selenium, or other testing tools).
  • Maintain test data and testing environments.
  • Monitor test results and provide reports on quality metrics.
  • Work with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Support end users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Maintain QA documentation including test cases, test results, and defect reports.
  • Provide regular status updates on testing progress and quality risks.
  • Assist in developing QA standards and best practices for the ServiceNow platform.
  • Communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
