Senior Software Architect - SaaS / Cloud Platform
About The Position
Sonaria is a rapidly growing enterprise SaaS platform that transforms supply chain operations using real-time data. Our platform integrates RFID, IoT devices, and enterprise systems to enable real-time operational execution across warehouse, manufacturing, healthcare, and logistics environments. We are seeking a Senior Software Architect to define and evolve the technical architecture of the Sonaria platform. This role provides architectural leadership for a scalable, cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS platform supporting real-time data processing, device integration, and enterprise system connectivity. The role is both strategic and hands-on, working closely with engineering leadership and product teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years in software architecture or principal-level roles
- Proven experience designing enterprise SaaS and distributed systems
- Strong cloud architecture experience (Azure preferred)
- Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- .NET/C#, Node.js, or Java microservices
- SQL and NoSQL databases
- Event streaming (Kafka, Event Hub, etc.)
- Microservices, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD, and DevOps
- Secure API and authentication frameworks
- AI tools to accelerate development and deployment processes

Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the overall architecture for an enterprise SaaS platform
- Lead cloud-native, scalable, and resilient system design
- Architect high-throughput, real-time data and event processing pipelines
- Design frameworks for RFID, IoT, and edge device integration
- Establish architectural standards, patterns, and best practices
- Mentor development teams and conduct architecture reviews
- Partner with product and engineering leaders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Design secure APIs and enterprise integrations (ERP, WMS, manufacturing systems)
