We focus on enabling the support team to efficiently convert customer inquiries into sales through reliable communication and inquiry handling platforms. Our team builds and maintains a custom system for task prioritization and manages the Redfin Twilio calling infrastructure. By joining our team, you’ll have a technical leadership position that impacts hundreds of support staff and hundreds of thousands of customers. The Role You will develop responsive, resilient, scalable, and high-quality software using React, Java, Postgres, and various other tools/libraries. You will balance the trade-offs between complex infrastructure investments and quick, pragmatic solutions to meet specific business needs. You will collaborate with other engineering and non-technical stakeholders to define, design, and lead the development of significant multi-person projects. You will mentor and guide other engineers, providing technical leadership and advocating for best practices. You will stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions are innovative and competitive.
