In this role you'll be building solutions to boost productivity and efficiency of our custom circuit designs. You will be engaging with multi-functional teams to ensure the robustness of the designs that will have direct impact across all product lines.
Responsibilities
- Work within a multi-functional team on various projects involving Pre-silicon and Post Silicon hardware design and related data.
- Support circuit design engineers to automate typical design tasks and improve efficiency.
- Build flows and methodology around vendor EDA tool and design collaterals to streamline design and verification workflows.
- Work closely with design engineers to support the existing development infrastructure, identify possible improvements and solutions.
- Employ good software engineering practices to develop complex and scalable systems.
Requirements
- MS/PhD preferred in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in VLSI CAD flows and methodology.
- Good programming skills in multiple languages (C++, Tcl, Python, Makefile or other scripting languages).
- Prior experience with tool development, testing and deployment is required.
- Good interpersonal skills, quick learner, proactive, innovative, highly motivated, and committed.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous work in VLSI, ASIC, or EDA is a definite plus.
- Experience with design collaterals such as .v, .gv, .lib, gds, etc.
- Enjoy working with multiple levels and teams across organizations.
- Effective interpersonal and technical presentation skills.
- Self-starter with passion for growth, real enthusiasm for continuous learning and sharing findings across the team.
