Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Platform

SeatGeek
12h$144,000 - $209,000Remote

About The Position

SeatGeek believes live events are powerful experiences that unite humans. With our technological savvy and fan-first attitude we’re simplifying and modernizing the ticketing industry. The Platform organization helps turn that vision into reality by providing a secure and reliable foundation for building and shipping products. By reducing complexity and offering well-supported, self-service tools and workflows, we enable teams across SeatGeek to move with confidence, especially during the moments when our systems matter most. We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join SeatGeek’s Cloud Platform team in our Platform organization. In this role, you will help design, build, and operate the core cloud, compute, and networking platforms that support all of SeatGeek’s engineering teams. Cloud Platform engineers focus on scalable infrastructure, resilient networking, and well-defined golden paths that allow teams to ship safely and confidently. SeatGeek has more services and deployments than developers, which means automation, standards, and reliability must be the default. The Cloud Platform team supports both our Enterprise and Consumer businesses as we scale primary and secondary ticketing platforms used by world-class partners and millions of fans.

  • Ability to write and maintain automation or tooling in Go, Python, or Bash, with an emphasis on clarity, safety, and long-term maintainability
  • A thoughtful approach to engineering craftsmanship, including clean abstractions, readable code, and systems that are easy for others to operate
  • Comfort collaborating across teams, explaining infrastructure and networking concepts clearly, and turning broad needs into practical technical solutions
  • Commitment to learning and growth through knowledge sharing, documentation, and mentorship
