The Opportunity We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer / Lead Software Engineer to join our client's team. You'll have a direct influence on the architecture and success of mission-critical privacy and data security products.
Requirements
- 8+ years of work experience in software engineering roles
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
- Passion for writing clean, secure, and high-quality code
- Strong background with LAMP/LEMP stack and Linux command line proficiency
- Strong proficiency in debugging complex software issues
- Ability to work hybrid from the office in the DMV area (company-paid relocation assistance is available)
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without visa sponsorship

Responsibilities
- Build scalable, load-balanced web applications, RESTful APIs, and algorithms that process more than 50 million privacy requests daily
- Lead feature implementation and redesign complex interfaces
- Optimize application performance and security for enterprise-scale deployments
- Mentor other engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and growth
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver on deadlines
