Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience as a full-stack software engineer.
• Strong backend and frontend engineering experience (approximately 60% backend / 40% frontend).
• Experience building data-heavy web applications or platforms with complex datasets.
• Proficiency with technologies such as Python, Go, TypeScript, React, and GraphQL .
• Experience designing and implementing GraphQL APIs or working with large structured data systems.
• Experience building modern web applications used for workflows such as collaboration, research, CRM-style systems, or data management.
• Strong product intuition and ability to design technical solutions that create intuitive user experiences.
• Experience working at high-growth startups or fast-moving product teams.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical ideas concisely.
• Demonstrated career progression and increasing ownership within engineering roles.

Nice To Haves

• Experience building data-intensive web products or platforms with large-scale datasets.
• Familiarity with modern data infrastructure tools such as Postgres, dbt, Elasticsearch, or cloud data platforms .
• Experience building search or knowledge graph-based systems.
• Experience working with modern cloud infrastructure such as Google Cloud Platform .
• Experience with infrastructure tooling such as Terraform .
• Experience working with AI development tools or developer productivity tools.
• Background in computer science or related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship full-stack features that power a data-intensive platform used by top venture investors.
• Develop backend services and APIs that process and structure large volumes of unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Design and implement GraphQL APIs and scalable backend systems to power product experiences.
• Build intuitive frontend experiences using modern frameworks to support research, discovery, and deal management workflows.
• Work across the full stack (approximately 60% backend / 40% frontend) to deliver high-quality product features.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to build highly usable tools for complex data exploration.
• Contribute to the development of a knowledge graph and intelligent systems that enable deeper insights into the startup ecosystem.
• Build and maintain scalable infrastructure for data ingestion, processing, and search.
• Continuously improve system performance, reliability, and developer velocity.
