Responsibilities
- Perform software development activities (design, code, and test) on the STARS Database Management System software
- Implement software enhancements based on system/software requirements specifications
- Troubleshoot and correct software issues
- Create test plans and technical documentation
- Create/update test data used by the software development and integration teams
- Support the development of software tools utilized by the FAA customer to facilitate the creation and maintenance of the data used to configure the STARS system
Requirements
- A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
- Experience with C/C++ and experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience with Database / SQL
- Experience X-Windows/Motif
- Experience with Perl
