About the position
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in our Home Lending Group as part of Consumer Technology. In this role, you will lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments, contribute to large scale planning of strategies, design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments. You will review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures, resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements. Additionally, you will collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals, lead projects and act as an escalation point, and provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years Java/J2EE development experience
- 3+ years of JavaScript Frameworks experience such as with Angular or React JS
- 3+ years of Oracle Database experience
Nice-to-haves
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in Web and Restful Services, TDD/BDD Automation
- Strong Java/J2EE experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot
- Knowledge of Cloud based tools, Azure and PCF
- Knowledge of Micro Services, Mango DB, Kafka, APIGEE and other marketplace APIs
- Experience in build and deploy tools such as Jenkins
- Awareness of CI/CD processes in a large application environment
- Experience of Monitoring and Logging tools such as Splunk
- Strong Knowledge of Selenium, Mockito, Cucumber and other Automation Tools and Techniques
- Working in an Agile Scrum Environment with team of Engineers and Product Owner and Scrum master
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise JIRA tools and GitHub and other source code management tools
- Knowledge of using Co-Pilot for Code Generation, Unit Test Case generation and BDD Test Automation
- Knowledge AI technologies such as Agentic AI and Tachyon Studio for development AI based solutions
