As a Senior Software Engineer within PNC's Technology - Data Products organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Miamisburg, OH, Birmingham, AL, or Dallas, TX. As a Senior Software Engineer you will be working on building/enhancing data products in the analytics engineering space, which includes real time data ingestion and engineering components, API enhancements, and/or API development for data serving. Candidates will need to have a strong proficiency in: Java, API, Python, Kafka, Spark, Database, Container Platform, Helm, Jenkins, and Git. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
  • Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
  • Writes code, tests and deploys software.
  • Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
  • Maintains and debugs software.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Java, API, Python, Kafka, Spark, Database, Container Platform, Helm, Jenkins, and Git.
  • 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience.
  • University / college degree or a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience.
