Senior Software Engineer - Python and AWS

About the position

Deluxe, a leading Digital Payments and Data company, is looking for a seasoned Python / AWS Developer. Use your knowledge of SQL Server, AWS Glue, and S3 buckets to help create innovative Cloud-based fintech products. The Senior Software Engineer works collaboratively with engineering management, product managers, and other software engineers to develop new product offerings and improve existing installed or SAAS solutions for clients within the financial services industry.

Requirements

• Strong Expertise in Microsoft ETL data ingestion framework specifically SQL Server, SSIS DevOps.
• Expertise in SQL server development and management tools.
• Expertise in file management, data storage management and operations on premise and cloud.
• Solid understanding of high-volume data processing frameworks on premise and Cloud.
• Familiarity with data pipeline management frameworks on cloud (AWS, Azure, Google).
• Familiarity with Python, R scripting and IDEs like Jupyter notebook, RStudio.
• Bachelors Degree and 3 years of related experience or HS/GED and 7 years.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelors in Computer Science or related field
• 8 years in full cycle design development, or .bnet solutions.
