About the position

One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Billing & Expansion Team in the United States. This role is a unique opportunity for an experienced engineer to help shape the billing infrastructure and pricing capabilities of a fast-growing AI platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to enhance the customer experience and support the company’s revenue goals. Your work will directly impact how customers evaluate, purchase, and manage subscriptions. Responsibilities

  • Design and scale a robust billing infrastructure that integrates seamlessly with third-party vendors to support business growth.
  • Develop pricing and licensing features in close collaboration with Product, Finance, Data, and Go-To-Market teams.
  • Improve data systems to ensure fair, accurate, and transparent billing for customers.
  • Build internal tools that help customer-facing teams access and act on billing-related insights.
  • Mentor peers through code reviews, architectural guidance, and engineering best practices.
  • Deliver high-quality, reliable code while balancing long-term scalability with short-term needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong foundation in system design and development.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern language such as Python, Go, or TypeScript.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally, especially with Product, Finance, and Data teams.
  • A customer-focused mindset with the ability to align technical solutions to business goals.
  • Experience working with billing, licensing, or metering systems is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to mentor others and contribute to team growth.
