About the position

This position is responsible for managing income tax compliance, provision, research, audit, and planning processes for international operations and assisting in leading the teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage process and review international tax data or computations for US Tax Forms 1118, 5471, 5713, 8858, 8890, 8991, 8992, 8993 and BEPS CbC reporting.
  • Manage process and review responses to taxing authorities for income tax audits.
  • Monitor transfer pricing policies and related documentation.
  • Monitor tax team's SOX compliance and manage responses to internal audit requests.
  • Assist in tax planning for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic tax planning initiatives.
  • Assist Tax Director in an advising capacity for all internal requests related to corporate income taxes.
  • Manage and/or review the process of post-acquisition tax integration and determination of tax entries for ASC 805 business combinations and completion of Form 8594.
  • Identify, initiate, and support the continual improvement of quality and efficiency of processes and systems.
  • Interpret tax statutes and regulations, monitor legislative activity, advise management on relevant changes, and identify opportunities to minimize tax.
  • Manage special projects.
  • Assume other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 10+ years related income tax experience in public accounting or large multi-national public company tax department.
  • 3+ years serving in a supervisory/management capacity of at least 3 associates and projects.
  • Substantial understanding of GAAP including ASC 740 and ASC 805.
  • Substantial understanding of tax statutes and regulations for domestic and/or international jurisdictions.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.
  • Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc.
  • Ability to create, maintain, and incorporate functions into Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint presentations to support business objectives.
  • Frequently communicates complex information across departments and interacts with management.
  • Can present, resolve, and address delicate situations.
  • Can motivate and persuade others.
  • Problems are varied and complex, requiring analysis or interpretation of the situation.
  • Decisions impact the management and operations within a department or business unit.
  • Provides and sets goals and priorities for functional area.
  • May make recommendations for department policies, practices, and programs.
  • Makes decisions for and/or resolves problems for others.
  • Prioritize, organize, and oversee tasks and projects responsible for outcomes.

Benefits

  • Base Salary range: $165,000 - $170,000 per year.
