Senior Software Engineer

About the position

This role supports the development and delivery of Walgreens photo application. This role requires solid foundation in software engineering and DevOps practices with experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservice architecture, Restful APIs, any Cloud technologies (Azure is preferred), any messaging queue (Azure Service Bus, Kafka Rabbit MQ), NoSQL and SQL databases. Experience with CI/CD pipelines including Jenkins/Azure Devops and Agile development methodologies is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of Walgreens photo application.
• Act as an individual contributor and team leader.
• Problem-solve and provide solutions in software engineering.
• Utilize DevOps practices in software development.

Requirements

• Solid foundation in software engineering.
• Experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of Microservice architecture and Restful APIs.
• Familiarity with Cloud technologies, preferably Azure.
• Experience with messaging queues such as Azure Service Bus, Kafka, or Rabbit MQ.
• Proficiency in NoSQL and SQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines including Jenkins/Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
